Tamagotchi

I did a project based on manufactured objects with a large focus on detail. I chose a Tamagotchi as the virtual pet was a big part of my childhood and was easy for me use as a physical reference. I got as many of the seams and other details as I could including the slot there the battery pull tab once was. This was accomplished by creating a shell using splines, extruding, and subtracting smaller shapes for detail. I drew a texture from the LCD's background in Adobe Illustrator.
